Dear Counselors/Teachers,
You are invited to join Bellin College for a Healthcare Academy (HCA) Information Session on Wednesday, October 15, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at Bellin College’s Van Asten Campus.
The purpose of this event is to provide school counselors with a clear overview of the structure of the HCA program and the many benefits it offers students. We recognize that some schools face challenges in promoting the program, may be less familiar with its details, or have struggled with student interest. This session is designed to give you the tools and knowledge needed to better support and guide students who could benefit from HCA participation.
Key topics will include:
Program structure and course options
Benefits for students, including reduced-cost college credits, career exploration, and readiness for college success
Strategies for introducing and promoting the program to students and families
If you have attended this event in the past, you are welcome to join us again. Please note that there are no new processes to announce this year. The session will serve as a refresher and an opportunity for discussion. We will be hosting this event at our second campus, so it would be an opportunity to see our Ultrasound and Physical Therapy Labs if you haven’t done so already.
