Each February, CESA 8 coordinates Regional Spelling Bees for the top spellers throughout our 27 school districts. The top three spellers then move on to the State Badger Bee held in Madison in March sponsored by Wisconsin State Journal. The top finishers from the Badger Bee move on to represent Wisconsin in Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D. C.

Students in grades 3-8  are eligible to compete, please see your local school district to see if they are planning a District Bee in your school.
