The Northwoods Youth Apprenticeship Consortium recently held a YA Coordinator meeting. The agenda included guest presentations from the Wisconsin DWD - Equal Rights Division, Wisconsin Virtual School, and Wisconsin Laborers' Apprenticeship and Training Fund. It was a great day of learning for our team, which will continue to help support our growing number of YA students.

In honor of National Youth Apprenticeship Week, we have some fun facts for you:
● In our Northwoods YA Consortium, the highest participation is in the Manufacturing career pathway - with 23 apprentices. The average pay for those students is $15.01!
● The highest paying pathway is Health Science, with eight students averaging $17.94 per hour!
● There are 79 different career pathways in 13 areas. The average pay in all of these pathways is $14.17.
